24km of minor roads, either side of the B1246 Pockilington to Driffield road. Anticlockwise route: North Dalton, Huggate, Warter and back to Middleton on the Wolds.
Minor roads. Tarmac fine, some gravel on roads in one or two places. Quiet, narrow country roads with wide grass verges.
Steep hills in and out of Warter; must not roller down these. Probably best to classic this route.
Facilities in the villages. Pub but no shop in Huggate.
Rolling chalk countryside. Pretty villages. Slow rollers are best.
There are some long gradual descents which can be free-wheeled, provided your rollers do not run away with you.
Not suitable for beginners.
