A59 Northway, south of Ormskirk.
Follow A59 south of Ormskirk until it becomes dual carriageway. This is the top. The bottom is at the second roundabout, near Lydiate.
Various side streets and pubs, cafes are available for parking.
Aughton Park and Town Green railway stations are within walking distance of the top.
Distance 3.2km, Height Gain 40m.
Cycle track of good surface and width. The left hand track (looking in Ormskirk direction) is in better condition that right at the top.
There are several road crossings, including busy roundabout feeder road, which you will need to remove skis for.
This is not particularly steep and can be easily skied down by competent roller skier.
A number of pubs and cafes close to route and in Ormskirk.
Not the steepest of hills, but a good steady climb.
