Dollar, Alva and Tillicoultry are on A91 east of Stirling.
The cycle starts on Lover’s Loan (to south of Dollar) on old railway line route (see Location above).
Full route is about 8km skiing in one direction. Consists on 2 cycle tracks and a hill climb at end that provide options for shortening.
Take cycle track following old railway route from Dollar to Tillicoultry. Make way through Tillicoultry town toward golf course to join cycle track to Alva. On approach to outskirts of Alva turn right and follow quiet road upto Woodhill Wood Park car park.
Options are to return the same way or walk on path from car park back into Tillicoultry then re-join cycle track (or catch bus) back to Dollar.
Both cycle tracks have smooth tarmac. Road from Alva to Woodhill Wood Park quiet but shared with cars. Suggest walking through Tillicoultry.
